Hi guys, how's it going?
Today we are here with a tutorial about an interesting alternative option for file sharing, supporting files of any size and type. It's name: Smash.
Smash is a service which allows us to share files directly, quickly and simply, using any web browser.
There is no filesize limit, the files are protected, and the best part: it's free of charge and you are not required to register.
Next, all the details of the tutorial.
Tutorial: sending files with Smash
It's really easy to use this service, even more than others we previously shared. Anyway, we recorded a step-by-step audio tutorial for you, touching points such as:
- How to upload files to Smash
- How to correctly fill the fields (sender, recipient's email, subject and message)
- How to set the number of days for which the link will be valid
- How to set a password for the download (optional)
- How to send the transfer
- We will show the received email with the file transfer
- We will show the download with password
- We will show how to upload multiple files at once (3 files)
- We will send these files in a single email
- We will show the download of all these files at once
Requirements
We need just this:
- A web browser, whichever of them (according to the official website, it is working even on mobile phones)
- And the Smash website (check out the download section of this post)
Downloads
We prepared these downloads:
- The audio tutorial
- Smash's website
We hope it will be very useful for you, it's another alternative for sending files.
Remember: it has no limits, it's free and doesn't require registration.
